Great Fun for all the Family

Gosfield Village Fete will take place on Saturday, 12th July at The Playing Field, Hall Drive, Gosfield, and will open at 1.00pm.

 The opening will be preceded by a parade of floats from Gosfield School, led by Braintree MarXmen Group Youth Marching Band & Colour Guard.

The theme this year is 'The Countryside' and there will be several displays by representatives of Essex Wildlife Trust, plus members of the Badger Group. There will also be the chance for children to make bug and bird boxes etc.

There will be a 3K Fun Run commencing at 1.30pm open to all, and entry forms are in the Programme or available at G&S Newsagents, Church Road, Gosfield.

Also, by public demand, there will be a return visit by Paul Pleasant, the magician/conjurer/juggler, displays by 1163 Colne Valley Air Training Corps and Gosfield Community Primary School. And, of course, there'll be lots of stalls and attractions, a licensed bar, plenty of refreshments, from hog roast rolls to home-made cakes, teas coffees and cold drinks.
